In today’s business world, certifications are almost always a must! This is apparent in almost any job posting that you see. Most employers will not consider an applicant if they do not posses a certification, or certifications, that show that the candidate has the required skill set relevant to the job.
IT certification from Microsoft, Cisco, Abode and other software and hardware vendors can help you to advance your information technology career. Recruiters, hiring managers and human resource staffing professionals scan the resumes for keywords, or benchmarks to decide if a candidate is qualified for a position. Certification is one of these keywords. Getting IT certified proves that a candidate is committed, both to the process of learning, and to the subject matter they study. Certification not only provides the tools and training required to deliver world-class support to every customer but it also establishes an essential set of credentials. Certifications help to establish the industry benchmarks and best practices to abide by – enabling practitioners to be consistent in the delivery of customer care. Study your IT exams with CertMagic.com
Well, some people think diplomas and degrees can get around in the industry, no matter what degrees you holding, you won’t be a match for certified professionals (of course unless your degree is from MIT or well-known universities). Because when you go and apply at an IT firm for work, if you are just showing them degree, they will consider first, but if you have certificates, they are sure that you have the experiences and knowledge for the post that you are applying.
When comes to experiences, a certified professional will have much more experiences than a degree or diploma holders.
Benefits of Certification
1. Increases performance and productivity
The most important benefit of certification is that the process of certification increases your skills and your knowledge to a great extent and you feel that technical certifications have increased your overall job productivity.
2. Optimize return on investment and technology features
Another economic factor that certification holders consider is Return on Investment (ROI). ROI from certification is integrally tied to the cost of the certification. According to some recent surveys, for every dollar invested in a certification, the certification holder realizes a $3.2 return in the form of a pay raise.
3. Keep up with changing technology
Certifications really help to keep you updated with the ever changing technology of computer.
4. Career development advantages
Despite the IT downturn, and relative job scarcity, certification holders jumped companies after acquiring certifications in their desired fields. Benefits for the Individual
1. Provides a quantifiable milestone for achievement.
2. Increases productivity, pride and job satisfaction.
3. Establishes credibility and verifies mastery in the industry.
4. Enhances job opportunities within the I.T. industry.
Some other Useful Certificates
Some of the well known and most useful certificates are -
1. MCSE (Microsoft Certified System Engineer)
2. MCSD (Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer)
3. MCDBA (Microsoft Certified Database Administrator)
4. MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional)
5. CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associates)
6. CCSP (Cisco Certified Security Professional)
7. CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
I think of you will found to interested in certification, you should be try attended to certification exams. Certification will to give your memory. Get a certification you will be a prerequisite for successful in life. If you have study hard, you will get a certification.

So nowadays most information simply can not do without computers and the Internet. If you have not a internet, I think of any one thing can not be the operation. So IT certification becoming very important in our lives. But if you want a IT certification is difficult. First you option compare to easy certification. When you have a certification, You will have to obtain certification are increasingly interested in the more advanced certification.
Certifications cannot be achieved before passing some particular standards. Certifications are required to make oneself more practical or experience. The qualifications a person must have in order to earn a certification are a combination of hands-on experience, skills and subject matter knowledge. Such qualifications can vary widely from one certification candidate to another and they are difficult to assess accurately. In an ideal world, a certifying agency would use a practical hands-on methodology to test an individual’s knowledge and skills. Because this is cost prohibitive and logistically challenging in most cases, agencies use standardized examinations to assess candidates’ qualifications. When the legitimacy of the test process is compromised for example, when people can openly find the exams posted word for word on the Internet the value of certification is diminished. If certification were to ever completely lose its value, the IT profession in general would suffer.
So networking based certification is a basic need now days for becoming a network engineer. Networking has always been a priority job. Installation of a LAN, WAN and internet Connectivity with changing architectures that brought about file server, printer server has highlighted the need of networking professionals. Networking certifications from CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, Novell and other companies have sought to bring professionalism into the installation and configuration of their products. Security has become an important part of networking and network security certifications have also become incorporated into the network certifications. Certification gives better pay but look at your ability to complete the learning to get the certification. You may be spending more and may not even get certified. Certification holders must actually perform to be an asset to the company. This increases his credential.

CCNP certification is one of the Cisco. CCNP certification is middle level of the Cisco. If you want to get a CCNP certification. You can take the exam without having to first obtain CCNA certification. So you should be try get a CCNP certification. In fact, CCNP certification is very easy and widely of the word. CCNP certification will help you get successful career in the near future.
To earn your CCNP, you first have to earn your CCNA certification. Then you’re faced with a decision – take the three-exam CCNP path, or the four-exam path? They’re both quite demanding, so let’s take a look at each path.
The four-exam CCNP path includes the Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks exam (BSCI), Building Cisco Multilayer Switched Networks exam (BCMSN), Building Cisco Remote Access Networks (BCRAN), and Cisco Internetwork Troubleshooting (CIT) exam.
The three-exam path combines the BSCI and BCMSN exams into a single exam, called the Composite exam.
I’m often asked what order I recommend taking the exams in. After earning your CCNA, I recommend you begin studying for the BSCI exam immediately. You will find the fundamentals you learned in your CCNA studies will help you a great deal with this exam. You’re going to add to your CCNA knowledgebase quite a bit when it comes to CCNA CERTIFICAITON and EIGRP, as well as being introduced to BGP.
I don’t have a preference between the BCMSN and BCRAN exams, but I do recommend you take the CIT exam last. You’ll be using all the skills you learned in the first three exams to pass the CIT. It’s a very demanding exam, and it’s a little hard to troubleshoot technologies that you haven’t learned yet!
The CCNP is both financially and personally fulfilling. Once you complete your CCNA studies, take a little breather and then get started on your CCNP studies. The more you know, the more valuable you are in today’s ever-changing IT job market.

Today, CCNA certification is basic of the Cisco certification. CCNA certification is compare for passed the examination. so many people like to CCNA certification. If you have successful passed the CCNA certification is very easy, it will bring in more confidence, After you attend the more advanced certification help. Your CCNA studies are going to include quite a bit of information about switches, and for good reason. if you don’t understand basic switching theory, you can’t configure and troubleshoot Cisco switches, either on the CCNA exam or in the real world. That goes double for testking!

Testking is simply enabling two or more switches to communicate and send frames to each other for transmission to remote hosts. There are two major Testking protocols that we need to know the details of for exam success and real-world success, but before we get to the protocols, let’s discuss the cables we need.

Connecting two Cisco switches requires a crossover cable. As you know, there are eight wires inside an Ethernet cable. In a crossover cable, four of the cables “cross over” from one pin to another. For many newer Cisco switches, all you need to do to create a trunk is connect the switches with a crossover cable. For instance, 2950 switches dynamically trunk once you connect them with the right cable. If you use the wrong cable, you’ll be there a while!

There are two different Testking protocols in use on today’s Cisco switches, ISL and IEEE 802.1Q, generally referred to as “dot1q”. There are three main differences between the two. First, ISL is a Cisco-proprietary Testking protocol, where dot1q is the industry standard. (Those of you new to Cisco testing should get used to the phrases “Cisco-proprietary” and “industry standard”.) If you’re working in a multivendor environment, ISL may not be a good choice. And even though ISL is Cisco’s own Testking protocol, some Cisco switches run only dot1q.

ISL also encapsulates the entire frame, increasing the network overhead. Dot1q only places a header on the frame, and in some circumstances, doesn’t even do that. There is much less overhead with dot1q as compared to ISL. That leads to the third major difference, the way the protocols work with the native van.

The native van is simply the default van that switch ports are placed into if they are not expressly placed into another van. On Cisco switches, the native van is van 1. (This can be changed.) If dot1q is running, frames that are going to be sent across the trunk line don’t even have a header placed on them; the remote switch will assume that any frame that has no header is destined for the native van.

The problem with ISL is that is doesn’t understand what a native van is. Every single frame will be encapsulated, regardless of the van it’s destined for.

Switching theory is a big part of your CCNA studies, and it can seem overwhelming at first. Just break your studies down into smaller, more manageable parts, and soon you’ll see the magic letters “CCNA” behind your name!

Cisco certification include many categories certified and exam number. CCNA and CCNP is one of a kind Cisco. In fact CCNA certification is very easy, CCNP certification is based on upon the CCNA. If you can easily obtain CCNA certification, I believe that obtain CCNP certification no problem for you. Then you can take part in more advanced certification exam. Cisco certification will change your destiny.

Recertification sounds like a pain, but it’s actually one of the best things to ever happen to computer certification, and it helps your career as well. One trap many LAN and WAN personnel fall into is that they fail to keep up with changes in technology, and if they happen to be laid off or want to change jobs, they’re unable to because they didn’t keep their skill set up.

Cisco’s recertification policies ensure that if you want to keep your CCNA, CCNP, or one of the other valuable Cisco certifications, you’ve got to take a recertification exam.

As of November 2005, to recertify as a CCNA, you need to pass either the current CCNA exam, ICND exam, or any 642 professional level or Cisco Qualified Specialist exam. (This does not include Sales Specialist exams.) Passing a CCIE written qualification exam also recertifies you as a CCNA. CCNAs are valid for three years.

For the CCNP, you need to pass the 642-891 Composite exam, a CCIE written qualification exam, or BOTH the BSCI and BCMSN exams (642-801 and 642-811, respectively.) CCNP certifications are valid for three years.

As you can see, you’ve got quite a few options either way. The one classic mistake you must not make is waiting too long to begin preparing for the exams, and give yourself a little leeway just in case you don’t recertify the first time around. Once the deadline passes, your certification is gone, and in the case of the CCNP that means taking all the exams again.

As a professional, it’s your responsibility to keep up with changes in the Cisco certification world, and this includes changes in the recertification program. Make a point of visiting the “Learning And Events” section of Cisco’s website regularly to look for changes in the certification program. And while you’re there, you just might see another cert that catches your eye!

In the daily, you should found to on the direction of the struggle for you. then you must be struggle towards this direction. Only work hard, I think of you will be able to successful. In the future, Your career will be flourishing. Your future is unbounded.
For many Cisco certification candidates, their first exam is the CCNA Composite exam or one of the two exams that make up the CCNA, the Introduction To Networking exam or the ICND (Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices) exam.
Walking into a testing center for the first time can be a nerve-wracking experience. You’ve got enough on your mind just keeping all that new information straight without worrying about what the testing experience will be like.
You’re not there to take the exam. You’re there to pass the exam. With this aggressive attitude in mind, let’s take a look at what you should expect (and not expect) when taking your first Cisco certification exam.
If the testing center is not in a part of town that you drive to in the morning, and you’ve got a 9 AM exam, you may find the traffic is much heavier that time of morning than you expected. Driving up to the testing center 10 minutes late is not a good way to get started. If you’ve never been to the center before, check their website for directions, or call them for directions. If at all possible, drive to the center the night before your exam.
Make sure to bring your wallet or purse. You cannot take the exam without proper identification. You’ll probably be asked for two forms of ID, one of which must be a picture ID.
Despite the best efforts of VUE and Parametric, some testing center rooms are afterthoughts. I strongly advise that if you’re taking your exam at a technical school, ask to see the testing room BEFORE you sign up for the exam. If it looks like a converted broom closet, it probably is. Those rooms also tend to be right next to classrooms, which can result in distracting noise during your exam.
If your testing center specializes in giving computer-based exams rather than classes, you’re probably in good shape. Again, feel free to drop by the testing center before your exam to take a peek at the testing room. Most testing rooms have a window that employees use to keep an eye on testers, and you should be able to take a peek through the window.
When you go in, you’ll be asked to enter your social security number as your testing ID. Once you do that, the exam engine starts running. However, this doesn’t mean the test starts.
When you take a Cisco exam, you’ll first be presented with a survey. The survey consists of 10 – 20 questions asking about your background, preparation methods, and comfort level with different technologies. This is a good time to catch your breath before starting the exam. The survey will only take about five minutes, and this time does not count against your exam time.
Finally, the exam starts! Remember, you’re not being asked anything you don’t know. If you have prepared correctly with the right tools, you’ll have a passing grade on your screen before you know it.
Speaking of that grade, you’ll be presented with it about five seconds after you answer the final question. Cisco exams no longer allow CCNA and CCNP candidates to go back once a question is answered, so be prepared for that.
you must be successful passed the examination in the shortest.
